Designed for even distribution of embedded rubber granules. Meant for use with textured varieties of Durabak ONLY. We recommend one roller per coat.

NOTE: Use of other types of rollers may cause clumping of granules.

Metcote Etch Primer is a high adhesion metal primer with excellent etching qualities. This quality metal primer is solvent based and contains acids and adhesion promoters that etch the metal surface ensuring excellent adhesion. Metcote Etch Primer is quick drying and can be topcoated with most paints within two hours of application. Metcote is an all purpose primer for non porous surfaces (i.e. iron, steel, most types of aluminum, fiberglass and galvanized metal).

You can use Metcote Etch Primer to:

• Prime a variety of metal surfaces before overpainting.
• Primer for Durabak products.
• Primer for metal and fibreglass surfaces.
• Heat resistant metal coating (up to 220°C).
• Bonds exceptionally well to metals and polyurethanes.
